The information below relates to our new app. We’ve started rolling out our new app, you might not have access to it just yet. Sit tight, we’ll let you know as soon as it’s available to you.

We’ve built a new app to support you in the life you’re after. It includes new features to help you manage your money as well as making quick and easy payments.

How to set up a Passkey

This video provides a step-by-step guide to setting up a passkey in the AIB mobile app. It explains how passkeys provide a faster and more secure way to access the app using the same method used to unlock a mobile device, such as Face ID, Touch ID, a fingerprint, PIN or passcode.

The video demonstrates how to access login and security settings from your profile, enable passkeys, and create a new passkey. It also shows how device settings may need to be updated before a passkey can be created, depending on the mobile operating system being used.

The video explains where passkeys can be managed within the app, including options to rename or remove them, and shows how passkeys can be used during future logins. It also notes that users can continue to log in using their Personal Access Code (PAC) if required and directs viewers to AIB.ie for additional information.
