How do I check the recent and pending transactions on my account?

There are two ways to see the activity on your account. To see your recent or pending transactions:
1. Log in to the app:
  1. Under ‘Activity’ on the home screen in your ‘Everyday’ space, scroll down and tap ‘See all’. Here you will see transactions on all your current or credit card accounts over the last 2 years.
  2. On the home screen select the specific ‘Account’ in your ‘Everyday’ space that you want to see the activity on and scroll down and tap ‘See all.
2. If you want to see any pending or completed transactions on any of your other accounts tap on the ‘Space’ to see them. For example, activity on your saving accounts can be found under the ‘Savings’ space.
- Transactions are displayed from newest to oldest.
- You can go back up to two years. If you want to see older transaction details, you can see up to seven years’ worth of activity in your Account statements.
- To help you, all transactions have the brand logo of the retailer, and category and sub category. For more detail on a particular transaction, you can click on it to see the type and status (for example, ‘pending’). For all card transactions you can see the location of the retailer.
- Under Spending analytics, you can:
  - Re-categorise a transaction.
  - See a graph of spending for each category.
  - Add a tag to a payment. You can create your own tags, for example, coffee or travel fare, to make searching transactions easier.
  - See your total number of transactions with a particular retailer.
1. Log in to AIB Mobile Banking.
2. Tap the account you want to view, you will then see a list of the recent and pending transactions on that account for the last 3 months.
3. Tap on a transaction to see more information such as the time, date, and type of transaction.
If you have no transactions for the last 3 months you can use search to view older transactions.
1. Log in to AIB Internet Banking.
2. Click on the account you want to view, where you can view any pending and recent transactions on that account for the last 3 months.
3. Click on a transaction to see more information such as the time, date, and type of transaction.
4. You can use Search to view transactions older than 3 months.

Here's how it works.

Log in to the AIB mobile app.

Select the account you wish to view the transactions in.

Let's look at the Green Grocery transaction in June.

Simply tap the Green Grocery transaction to see more detail.

You can see from the transaction date that you made a purchase at Green Grocery on the 15th.
But the transaction did not hit your account until the 17th.

This is because it often takes a few days for a transaction to be processed.

The transaction date is the day you were in the shop, and the processing date is the day it hits your account.

If we look at the transaction type, it shows that it was a purchase.
It could also be an ATM withdrawal, or a transfer, for example.

The category shows a bit more detail.

Tap the back arrow to navigate back to your account screen.

Tap the current-account transaction.

When you move money between your accounts, it shows as ‘between my accounts’.

This is an ATM withdrawal for €40.

You can see the time, date and place that the money was taken out.
The withdrawal was done on the 14th, and it was processed two days later, on the 16th of June.

The transaction type is Withdrawal, and the category is Withdrawals and Transfers.
