Payments - Personal Customers

We’re working on our payment services on Sunday 18 October 2026 from 02:00 to 08:00. This means you won’t be able to make any payments on the Mobile app or Internet Banking during this time. Some online card transactions will also be impacted during this period.

All other services will work normally including account balances, reporting cards as lost or stolen (on Internet Banking), loan applications etc.

We’ve kept the disruption to quieter times, and thanks for your patience.

Credit and Debit Cards

We’re working on our card systems on Sunday 18 October from 01:00 to 07:00. This means you may not be able to use your AIB debit and credit cards online or make instant payments to your credit card. You can still take money out at ATMs and buy things in shops.

Some card services in the AIB Mobile Banking app will be unavailable. If you want to report a card lost or stolen, freeze or unfreeze a card, ask for a replacement card and check your recent transactions, please go to AIB Internet Banking.
