"As a member of the AIB risk Graduate Programme, I have had the opportunity to gain broad exposure through the ever evolving and dynamic nature of Risk within the financial sphere. I am grateful that through this programme, I will get tailored and detailed experience within three rotations within Risk. This structure provides me with a deep understanding of risk management while enhancing my analytical and strategic thinking. Pivotal moments for me so far have been becoming the first graduate to MC a Risk Townhall, and the opportunity to sit down in conversation with SMT members to hear their career path and the trials and tribulations they faced on their journeys. Working with my experienced and intellectual colleagues, I have not only gained a theoretical knowledge of proceedings but also a practical understanding of putting the Customer First, and how these practices play out in real world scenarios. Therefore, the collaborative culture within this organisation – paired with real responsibility from an early stage has made my experience within AIB empowering, challenging and rewarding.”
