Why is there a delay in receiving my cheque book/lodgement book?
We apologise to our customers who have experienced a delay in the issuance of their cheque books and lodgement books after our previous supplier went into administration.
The delivery of AIB cheque and lodgement books to our customers has recommenced and most customers should now be receiving their books. As our new print supplier scales up to full service, production of some cheque and lodgement books may temporarily take a little longer than normal but we are working with them to ensure this time is minimised.
Customers may avail of alternative payment options, for example, online channels which offer various payment options, AIB Debit or Credit Cards and of course customers can also make payments in branch using our Paylink Euro products.
Customers can contact our dedicated help line on 0818 303 034 for support with alternative methods of payment.

What is the change to Personal Current Account Fees?
Previously, we have waived maintenance and transaction fees for customers who kept a minimum daily balance of €2,500 in their account throughout the fee quarter. However, from 28 November 2020, regardless of the minimum daily balance maintained throughout the fee quarter, we are going to apply these fees which will be charged quarterly from 29 March 2021.
Contactless transactions remain free of charge for all customers.
