AIB Corporate Identity Guidelines

The AIB name and corporate marks are and remain the property of Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c. and may only be used by third parties with the express written permission and licence granted by AIB and subject to the AIB Corporate Identity Guidelines set out below.

AIB's corporate symbol was introduced in 1990. The mark was inspired by one of the earliest known Celtic images of the Ark. The original was sculpted on a stone cross which is located near the River Killary in County Meath, Ireland.

The AIB corporate mark is made up of three segments: The first contains the ark and dove symbol. The second contains the specially drawn AIB letterforms and the third is a green band. Together these elements make up the corporate mark. All the elements have been specially drawn and their relationship to each other must never be altered in any way.
