AIB Corporate Finance, in conjunction with independent merger and acquisition intelligence service Mergermarket, have published a new report - Selling A Business Ireland -  which is a survey of a range of Irish companies who have recently been through the process of selling their business and examines current topics and issues on the sell-side of M&A transactions in Ireland.

In addition to the survey, the Selling a Business Ireland report also provides a step by step guide to the entire sales process offering preliminary advice and recommendations. Areas addressed include sale rationale, pre-sale grooming, buyer identification and exit options, valuation, sales process, execution and completion, legal due diligence, tax issues, wealth management and tax opportunities and pitfalls.
