Hidden Costs
Keep in mind all the hidden costs for holidays apart from flights and accommodation when you are working out your finances. Remember things like:
Medical expenses of vaccinations when visiting countries where they are required
Holiday clothes
Sun lotions/creams
Your Money abroad
Don't forget you can use your AIB Maestro Debit card while abroad where you see the Laser or Maestro symbol
You can also use your AIB Credit Card while abroad where you see Visa or MasterCard Signs.
This may be cheaper than converting your money before you go.
Always have access to more than one source of cash while you are away. Bring your ATM card and your Credit Card as well as some foreign currency.
