We recognise you may be disappointed if your branch is one of those closing, but we would like to reassure you we will be making every effort to make the transition to your new branch as easy and convenient as possible.
We have put in place a number of alternative banking services which we hope will minimise any inconvenience to our customers. These include enhanced transaction services through designated Post Offices and the introduction of additional AIB mobile Community Banks in certain locations.
You will need an active AIB ATM/Debit Card and/or a personalised lodgement book to use the Post Office services. If you do not already have these items, our staff will be more than happy to organise this for you.
Existing personal banking services such as AIB Phone, Internet, Mobile Banking and Self-Service areas in our branches are also available. AIB's existing cash management and electronic banking services such as AIB iBusiness Banking and card payment services through AIB Merchant Services are alternative options for our Business customers.
We will write to all account holders before your branch closes.
