How do I apply for an AIB Graduate Account?

Step1:

To open an AIB Graduate Account simply just call into any AIB branch to complete an AIB Graduate application form

Step 2:

Provide us with evidence of graduation (e.g. letter from College or Certificate of Graduation).

Step 3:

In order to comply with legislation to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, you will need to provide suitable documentation to verify both your identity and your current residential address. (Examples of acceptable documentation are listed below)

(1) Suitable Proof of Identity:

1. Valid Passport
2. Valid Driving Licence (Irish Provisional accepted)
3. National Identity Card

Example of Proof of Residential Address:

(documents must be no more than 6 months old - i.e. issued in the last 6 months)

1. Utility Bill (e.g. telephone, mobile, gas/electricity/heating/ waste collection)
2. Correspondence from a Regulated financial institution (bank, building society, insurance/assurance co., credit card co.)
3. Correspondence from a government department/body/agency/board

Note: The name on your photographic identification (e.g. name on your passport) must exactly match the name on your proof of address (e.g. full name on gas bill). Photocopies of documents are not acceptable. Please talk to one of our staff at your local AIB branch if you do not possess the documentation outlined above.
