How Do I...?

Set up an online savings account

You must have an AIB Current or Cashsave Account to open an Online Savings Account.

Select the 'savings online' option on the left of the screen.

Please read the Online Personal Savings Plan terms and conditions.

If you accept the terms and conditions you can then proceed to the online application form.

The form will ask you for:

  • How much you would like to save
  • Savings frequency (weekly, monthly, fortnightly)
  • The account you wish to use as a "feeder" account (this must be an AIB Current or Cashsave account)
  • A start date

Once entered, click 'proceed' to complete the application process.
