AIB/Chamber Network Membership Offer
- Definitions in these conditions: 'The Bank' means Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c.
'Chambers Ireland' means the company incorporated in Ireland (company number 7202) whose registered office is at 17 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. Chambers Ireland is the registered business name of the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland.
'Participating affiliated local Chamber' means the individual Chamber who is facilitating the discounted AIB membership offer.
'The Chamber Network' means the group of local Chambers that are affiliated to Chambers Ireland.
'The Offer' means 50% discount off the standard membership fee (exclusive of VAT) for the first year of membership (12 months) to qualifying AIB business start-up customers who are accepted for new membership of a participating affiliated local Chamber. The Offer is limited to the first annual membership subscription for qualifying customers.
'Qualifying customer' means an AIB Business Start-up customer - a Sole Trader, Partnership or Limited Company starting up a new business or whose business is in operation for less than 3 years and is opening an AIB Business Start-up Current Account for the first time for that business between 1st October 2011 and 30th September 2012 and has five or less employees. The customer must also be new to the affiliated Chamber Network. Qualifying customers availing of this offer shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
'Membership Activation Code' is necessary to apply for the discounted membership offer and will be provided to qualifying AIB customers at the time of Business Start-up Current Account opening.
- Membership Application: Qualifying customers wishing to avail of this offer must input their Membership Activation Code and complete Chambers Ireland's online membership application form which is available on the dedicated Chamber Network Membership Offer microsite which is accessible ONLY through the AIB website www.aib.ie/chamberoffer.
Payment of Membership Fee: Payment of the discounted membership fee (50% off standard membership fee exclusive of VAT of the chosen participating affiliated local Chamber) can only be made online through the dedicated Chamber Network Membership Offer microsite and is paid directly to Chambers Ireland. This payment must be made at time of Membership Application. All payments are securely processed.
Access to the AIB website is governed by the terms and conditions contained therein. AIB shall not be responsible for the content of any external internet sites.
- Applications for membership of an affiliated participating local Chamber are subject to approval. Upon completion of the application, the chosen affiliated participating local Chamber will review the application and accept or decline the membership request at its discretion. If a membership request is declined a full refund of payment made by the customer will be issued.
- No refund is available once the affiliated participating local Chamber has accepted the application for membership.
- The details required by Chambers Ireland to apply for affiliated participating local Chamber membership are - name, job title, company name, full postal address, telephone number, email address, website and product/service category. The additional details required to confirm eligibility to avail of the membership offer are - company registration date, numbers of employees and AIB Bank branch address. Chambers Ireland will share the following information with AIB to validate eligibility - Name, company name, AIB Branch address. Qualifying Customers who proceed with this application consent to the use and the sharing by AIB Bank and Chambers Ireland of the data as indicated above for the purposes of verification and validation of eligibility for discounted membership.
- AIB Bank and Chambers Ireland representing the affiliated Chamber Network reserve the right to amend withdraw or terminate this promotion without prior notice.
- AIB does not give any representations or warranties in relation to any matter relating to the membership or decline of application for membership of a participating affiliated local Chamber and accepts no liability in relation thereto. All complaints of the qualifying customer must be referred direct to their affiliated participating local Chamber.
- The AIB / Chamber Network Discounted Membership Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other special membership offers or promotions that the Chamber Network may undertake during the period of the AIB / Chamber Network Discounted Membership Offer.
- The cost of annual membership of an individual local Chamber varies across the Chamber Network. The membership rate throughout the offer period will not increase, but may decrease at the discretion of the individual local Chamber.
- The AIB / Chamber Network Membership Offer is available from 3rd October 2011 to 30th September 2012. Closing date to apply for the AIB / Chamber Network Membership Offer (discounted membership fee) is 30th December 2012. No applications for discounted membership shall be processed after this date.
