The Deposit Portfolio

The Deposit Portfolio is a low risk, tax efficient cash management fund providing money market returns. Protection of capital is a priority at all times.

The Deposit Portfolio is invested in Euro deposits only. The Investment Adviser has the discretion to invest in a range of Euro deposits in line with their view of interest rate movements, while still offering weekly liquidity to the underlying investors.
Through professional management of the maturity profile and the pooling of all investors' monies, the Deposit Portfolio has the potential to obtain better net returns than those generally available to any individual corporate investor.

Benefits of the Deposit Portfolio:

  • Provides money market related returns with protection of capital a priority at all times.
  • Tax efficient investment for Irish corporates that are deemed to be close companies for taxation purposes.
  • Weekly liquidity available within the fund.
  • Invests only in Euro deposits in line with the Manager's view of interest rate movements.
  • No initial charges - 0.3% annual management fee charged within the fund.

How the Deposit Portfolio works:

  • Recommended Term
As all investments by The Deposit Portfolio are in short term liquid assets, there is no recommended minimum investment period.

  • Distribution Policy
The Deposit Portfolio does not distribute income; instead it is accumulated within the fund and reflected in the unit price.

  • Management Fees
There is no initial charge for investing in The Deposit Portfolio and there will be no difference in the buying and selling price of the units.

The annual management fee of 0.3% is reflected in the price of the units in The Deposit Portfolio. As the management fee is deducted from the gross return, prior to the deduction of investment tax, it equates to an effective net charge of 0.24% per annum.

  • Buying and Selling Units
The Deposit Portfolio is valued every Tuesday based on the value of the fund's underlying assets as at the close of business on Monday. Instructions to buy or sell units must be received by 4pm every Monday and must be signed by those authorised to do so on the Mandate form.

  • Weekly Procedure
